Have you got your vitamin D yet?  This amazing fat-soluble nutrient has been taking the nation by storm since Public Health England announced in March that everyone should be supplementing with 10micrograms.

Well-known for helping to maintain healthy joints and muscles, this vitamin, which can be stored in the body, can be mobilised to keep all kinds of body systems healthy. And new research is showing just how pivotal to health this amazing nutrient is.

Vitamin C is popular as people seek to maintain healthy, robust immune function. Vitamin C comes in all kinds of strengths and product forms. Products with 80mg Vitamin C provide the basic level of this nutrient for the prevention of deficiency, and other multi-nutrient formulations might include more. Single supplements of this nutrient are most often found in 500mg and  

1000mg strengths, usually in tablets and capsules.

Walnuts are also provide great levels of omega 3 oils in the diet when eaten on a regular basis.
