Dandelion is a common wild flower, Taraxacum officinale.
The bane of every gardener, dandelion is a prolific plant, shooting up through the lawn every spring and bursting forth with a bright yellow flower followed by the distinctive and large seed heads.
Therapeutically the leaves and root are most used in food supplements.
